διό, conjunction equivalent to δἰ (from Thucydides and Plato down), wherefore, on which account: Matthew 27:8; Luke 1:35; Luke 7:7; Acts 10:29; Romans 1:24; Romans 2:1; 1 Corinthians 12:3; 2 Corinthians 6:17; Hebrews 3:7; James 1:21; 1 Peter 1:13, and often.
